X-Men Nation's staff of writers are always on the look out for the latest trade paperback, comic, or video game to review.  They provide the kind of reviews we all want, the ones written by real comic readers, fans, and gamers rather than some journalist disconnected from the comic book industry.

With the fateful “Return” issue of Uncanny fast approaching we set the mood by continuing the ever improving Nation-X storyline. It looks like the plot is beginning to thicken as the X-men track down who sent those Predator X’s into Utopia and to what end. Well it looks as if we’ve scheduled another adventure into Scott Summers mind boys and girls. Issue 519 deals with the sliver of the void migrating into Cyclops mind. It looks like Utopia’s new leader has some mental issues and who else to give him a hand than the lovely and always quaint Emma Frost.

It’s the exciting conclusion to the “Insane in the Brain” arc of Wolverine Weapon X. Logan’s out of Dr.Rot’s insomniac ward, and he isn’t in the best of moods. Get ready for some special guest stars to appear in the book this issue and of course who can miss the showdown between Dr.Rot & Logan.  This is definitely a don’t miss conclusive issue.

Directly fallowing issue #517’s rock’em sock’em action we have another strong issue of Uncanny. The X-men may have been able to raise asteroid M, gather their people and protect their Utopia, but now it’s time to tie up some loose ends.

Alright fans issue 8 is out and it looks like Logan has remembered who and what he is. When we last saw Wolverine he’d been tormented to release his berserker rage by the mysterious Dr.Rot. If anybody has ever fallowed Wolverine I’m sure they’ve got one piece of advice for the dear doctor, “get out of Logans…

It seems as if the mutant energy vampire Selene has found an all day and night buffet of mutant power. Undead mutant power of course, and these particular resurrected mutants have been dead since a devastating sentinel attack on Genosha so many years ago. With her new scheme finally revealed does Cyclops’s X-force have any means of stopping…

November’s issue of Uncanny starts off with a bang as we find our X-men’s Utopia under attack by not one, but rather five Predator X’s. It’s time to see Matt Fraction, Greg Land and crew serves us up some of the best mutant action in the buisness. And may I certainly say that they more than delivered.

Peter David, accompanied by artists Bing Cansino and Marco Santucci, ushers in the 200th issue of what may be the most underrated of Marvel’s X-titles. Has it really been 200 issues? In a technical sense, sure, but really this is the 51st issue of Peter David’s run. X-Factor is but one of several Marvel titles to be renumbered this year; other…
